Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels
Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage shifts for 24/7 coverage with 9hrs rotation
• Strong in communication skills and able to articulate and communicating with upper management if major issues
• Incident and Problem management experience with knowledge on the change management
• Collaborating with the other platform teams to ensure that all protocols are diligently followed
• Experience in application and monitoring tools and strong debugging and analytical issues
• Perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
• Continuous improvement of the system, eq. removal of TOIL, job automation, performance tuning
• Should have knowledge on ITIL Best practices and able to adhere to SRE guidelines in the work
• Proactive management of production services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, throughput, user journeys and overall system health
• Mentoring and managing team ( 4-6 members )
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, preferably in Computer Science or IT
• At least 9+ years of experience working in IT
• Preferably from a Banking or Financial Institutions with Strong knowledge of IT service management including ITIL and SRE Methodologies
• Strong Incident, Problem & Change Management knowledge / experience
• Exposure to Cloud Technologies(PCF or Open Shift or any other cloud)
• Observability Tools(AppD, Grafana, Kibana/ELK)
• Other Tools / Skill : JIRA, PLSQL, VPC, Hands on Unix& Linux, Incident / Problem / Change Management/ strong experience, ITIL, Good Communication Skills
• Optional/ Good to have: TWS, Scripting (VB, Python, Shell) Java, Springboot, Cassandra, Kofa
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
• Good experience in scripting (VBA / excel and any other language) and simple automation is must
• Good Analytical and well versed in trend analysis
