Senior Data Engineer Snowflake / SQL / Strategic Up to £80,000 + 15% Bonus Milton Keynes - 1 day per month This Data Engineering opportunity is to join a rapidly growing financial services organisation, who are going through a data transformation journey. This organisation is investing heavily in Data and taking it very seriously, the aim is to be a data-centric organisation. Additionally, they are not for profit therefore they are not about the bottom line they focus on reinvestment into the company and their employees. As the Senior Data Engineer, you are joining a small but growing data team. The organisation is in the process of moving from legacy technology to Snowflake and Power BI. As the most senior member of the team, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring more junior engineers. Additionally, you will be implementing best practices and working with the CDO to set up Data Ops. Skills we are looking for: Very experienced in Snowflake (for example, previously working on a Snowflake implementation and can help with best practices and ways of working) Proficient in SQL Power BI DBT Apache airflowDesirable: Financial services/ Insurance experienceOur client is looking for an enthusiastic data professional who will improve what good looks like from data and get the wider business excited about data.
