The role

We are looking for their next innovative Support Engineer to become a vital member of their Customer Support Team. The company prides themselves on delivering exceptional service and are looking for a dedicated individual to contribute to their dynamic support environment.

Key responsibilities

As a Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in:
  • Managing the 1st Level ticket queue and providing professional advice to valued customers.
  • Collaborating closely with their 2nd Level Support for efficient follow-up and tracing of fixes and solutions.
  • Reviewing and updating knowledge base articles, both external and internal.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements within the Support Team.
  • Participating in various training courses, including self-learning and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Being prepared to fulfil on-call duties.
Your profile

If you are a problem-solving enthusiast with a proactive mindset, this role is tailor-made for you. We are looking for someone with:

A university degree in IT or an equivalent technical degree.
  • 3 years of experience with Linux administration, LPIC-1 certificate is a plus.
  • Good technical knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas:
  • Working with ticketing and knowledge systems (e.g., Confluence, GitHub)
  • Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Shell and scripting knowledge
  • Database and SQL knowledge, including SQL scripting.
  • Fluent English (Level C1), with German language skills being a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to collaborate as a team player while taking initiative.
  • Must have a valid Germany residency and work status
